What data do we collect?
Footbar collects the following data:
- Personal identification information (Name, email address).
- Some optional data to fill in your player profile (City, country, profile picture, date of birth, gender, height, weight, favorite position, favorite foot, favorite club).
- Information about your football matches (Location, individual and collective statistics).
- Videos of football matches can be collected for R&D purposes.
How do we collect your data?
You directly provide Footbar with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:
- Register online or place an order for any of our products or services.
- Voluntarily complete a customer survey or provide feedback on any of our message boards or via email.
- Use or view our website via your browser’s cookies.
Footbar may also receive your data indirectly from the following sources:
- Anytime you use a Meteor Tracker in one of our customers’ competitions.
- In some cases we access the video of your match. This video is used anonymously for R&D purposes.
How will we use your data?
Footbar collects your data so that we can:
- Process your order and manage your account.
- Email you with special offers on other products and services we think you might like.
- Help you retrieve all your football performances in one place.
- Train our artificial intelligence to better understand the content of a football game.
Footbar also reserves the right to share access to your data with different types of football professionals: coaches, physical trainers, recruiters, competition organizers.
When Footbar processes your order, it may send your data to, and also use the resulting information from, credit reference agencies to prevent fraudulent purchases.
How do we store your data?
Footbar securely stores your data at on its web infrastructure provided by Google Cloud Platform. Their data centers are located in Belgium.
The ambition of Footbar is to help you retrieve your football data for the whole length of your football career. Therefore Footbar will keep your data for 10 years. Once this time period has expired, we will delete your data.
Marketing
Footbar would like to send you information about products and services of ours that we think you might like, as well as those of our partner companies.
If you have agreed to receive marketing, you may always opt out at a later date.
You have the right at any time to stop Footbar from contacting you for marketing purposes or giving your data to other members of the Footbar Group.
